Using Hearless

Hearless is an Android app that turns voice notes and audio files into text and lets you type by voice. By using it you agree to these terms. You need a free Google account to sign in, and an internet connection to transcribe.

Your account

Keep your Google sign-in secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app.

Minutes and purchases

  • New accounts include free minutes to start.
  • You can buy one-time minute packs through Google Play. They don’t expire and there’s no subscription.
  • Purchases are handled by Google Play; refunds follow Google Play’s policies.

Acceptable use

  • Only transcribe audio you have the right to use.
  • Don’t use Hearless to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
  • Don’t try to disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the service.

Your content

The audio and text you process are yours. How we handle them is described in the privacy policy.

Service “as is”

We work to keep Hearless accurate and available, but transcription isn’t perfect and the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. TODO: confirm the liability wording with a reviewer.

Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do.
